![]() This week’s Notable and Quotable from the Bloodlines Reforged Saga. ![]() ![]() ![]() This week’s Notable and Quotable comes from Roland’s Path, Book I of the Heirs of Vanity Series. Eldryn gave Roland a curious look. “Very well,” Roland conceded. “Most of it was due to my temper. However, I did remember the lessons father taught us about dwarves. And everything worked out in the end.” I hope this week’s newsletter finds you all well. If you’re looking for a starter into the Bloodlines Reforged Saga, Fires that Forge and/or Roland’s Path are the starting blocks. The complete first trilogies of both are available on Amazon and can be found here; Heirs of Vanity and Lords of Order & Chaos. We have at least two more series planned (Orphan’s Blade and Templar’s Rebellion) that will go into the over all Saga. Each series is set up to stand alone, but you will find a deeper understanding of all the characters involved if you read all the series. Please consider leaving us a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads. Thanks! Keep an eye out for the announcement of a winner in the audiobook giveaway of Heirs of Vanity, the boxset of Roland’s Path, Roland’s Vow, and Roland’s Triumph! You can find an ever-growing glossary and geographic guide on our website here; www.bloodlinesreforged.com. You can also find a few spoilers such as the lineage of kingdoms, the Code of the Cavalier, and so on. I need to tell you about Dead on Time, a great tale by Mason Sabre and Rachel Morton. Here’s what Amazon had to say, “Eighteen months—Eighteen girls. Only this time, Amy Sorokov has a chance of finding the latest victim. The papers have called him the Calendar killer. Amy has deemed him her most wanted. So what does she do when she’s hit a brick wall, and the clock begins ticking over a young girl’s head? She calls in the only man she knows will hunt the killer down. There is also a group of authors available right now to read for FREE on Kindle Unlimited. The Kindle Unlimited Fantasy Fall Book Fair is in full swing! Check out these free reads and, if you like what you see, make sure and let the author know. Another great tale comes to us this week from S.H. Steele in The Den. Here’s what the author has to say, “Mai wanted nothing more than to escape the small tea shop her mother owned. After gaining a degree in the human world and unsuccessfully finding employment, Mai – a kitsune – returns to the tea shop ready to learn how to become a witch like her mother. Join Mai on her job interview to be her mother’s apprentice and find out how well she does with her first client.” On the home front, we’re going to begin creating a few videos of me reading segments of Roland’s Path and Fires that Forge which can be found on our Facebook page here; Facebook Bloodlines. We just added a new page to our website where those videos will be showcased. Here’s hoping you’re all surviving the Big Q and adjusting to the huge changes we’re all facing right now. We had a pretty great gaming session this last week. Due to some scheduling issues, we weren’t able to continue the Silver Helm Campaign this week. Thus, we alternated to our spacemaster campaign. We investigated a crime scene and noticed a Klingon surveilling the place. So we put a plan into action to kidnap and interrogate him. Although it didn’t go as planned (they never do) we did manage to get him stuffed in a van and win him over to our cause. Whoohoo, we now have a loyal Klingon commando who’s part of the team! I have been informed by some of the other animals around the house that the cats have been receiving far too much attention of late. Thus, Maggie (our German Shepard) and Margaret (our Peahen) insisted on being featured in this week’s newsletter. Note; when naming them, our kids didn’t understand that Maggie was short for Margaret (the things kids don’t know, huh?). I’ve included a picture of Annie (our horse) as well so as to avoid any future jealousy among the ranks. ![]() ![]() Let me know how you’re doing.
